Tell governments to STOP anti-individual, illiberal, and divisive policies

Stop DEI

Sign this petition if you agree that discriminatory programs and policies are exclusionary and harmful to Canada’s social fabric.

FACT: Canada has a long history of openness and tolerance:

  • Over the decades, Canadian governments passed at least three dozen laws prohibiting discrimination on multiple grounds to protect minorities from discrimination and treat Canadians as equal citizens.
  • Actual ‘systemic’ or ‘institutional’ racism began to be outlawed based on race and ethnicity in the 1940s and 1950s in Ontario, for example.
  • Canadians today of every ethnicity, race, colour, and background earn similar incomes when ‘apple to apple’ comparisons are made.

We, the undersigned call on governments across Canada to review and end policies—sometimes known as ‘employment equity’ or ‘DEI’ or ‘affirmative action’ to ensure that no one is discriminated against because of their skin colour, ethnic origin, or sex when applying for a place at a school, a government benefit, or a place to work.
