Say NO to the Toronto School Board’s renaming project

The Toronto District School Board (TDSB) plans to rename schools named after Canada’s founders. That includes cancelling Henry Dundas, Sir John A. Macdonald, and Justice Matthew Begbie.

What TDSB ignores is that many of Canada’s earliest leaders did much to bring British law & liberty to ever-more people. Macdonald, Begbie, and Dundas need to be appreciated in the context of their time, not erased from our history books.
